We have at last reached critical mass in plant numbers!

Writer's picture: Helen ArnoldHelen Arnold

This spring must be one of the most difficult and challenging to get anything germinating and growing successfully and

it was all down to temperature.

Recent rainfall in most parts of the country makes it a great time to plant in the garden right now.

Most varieties are available .

Some top sellers are Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Red curly kale, Savoy and Evesham Sprouts.

Slugs and Snails have been a pain this spring and if you are still having trouble from them, then try Grazers Slug and Snail deterrent as it has been a very effective means to control them. It is a natural product.

Brassica production is about a month behind last year but as always things do catch up in the end.

Check out the website for availability of all plants, also all pest deterrents.
